The 5 Brownleas

The 5 Brownleas formed in 2023 in a garage in Toronto’s west end, bringing together five musicians with diverse backgrounds and influences. Blending rock, Latin and even classical with New York’s gritty sound, the band creates a unique, borderless style. Fronted by Galo (guitar, vocals) and Ivan (guitar, vocals), with Daniel (bass, vocals), Shay (violin, keys, vocals), their music reflects the energy of the city and the immigrant experience. With raw energy and heartfelt storytelling, The 5 Brownleas are carving out their own space in Toronto’s music scene.
